Using racquetball eyewear protects your eyes from injury and helps you adjust to light conditions for optimum performance. Racquetball is a fast-pace sport, so heavy sweating is typical; this can make your goggles blurry. Also, when your goggles sit in the cupboard between games, they accumulate dust and gunk around the lenses. Clean your goggles regularly to keep them smudge-free. With the right cleaning method, you can keep your goggles clear and hit a good Z-shot.1.
Wipe down your goggles with a dry cloth to remove the dust particles. Blow on goggles before wiping them to remove any particle that may scratch the lenses.2.
Fill a sink with lukewarm water and add any liquid soap of your choice. Mix the water with your hand until you get a foamy and warm solution.3.
Submerge your goggles in the water. Leave them in the water for one or two minutes so that the harder stains soften. With a soft sponge or cloth, gently rub the lenses on the goggles. Frequently lift the goggles from the water to ensure you get all the stains.4.
Rinse the goggles in cold or hot water to wash out the soap. Dry them with a clean towel and hang the goggles out to dry.
